Alaska Fishing Lodge
Many Alaska fishing lodges are crowded, far from the fishing or sharing the waters with the public - not so with our private and very secluded Alaska fishing lodge. At Austin's Golsovia River fishing lodge, you'll be fishing a beautiful clear stream on private land accessible only by Austin's 28' custom aluminum boat. From the porch of the Alaska fishing lodge you can see abundant salmon jumping less than 100 yards away, the nearby Norton sound - a part of the Bering Sea and spectacular rolling green hills and mountains. No roads, no power poles, and no other people.
Our rustic and comfortable Alaska fishing lodge hosts only 6 guests a week in private double occupancy rooms or a private riverside soft walled cabin. Many of the compliments we regularly get are on the quality of co-owner Clara Austin's and daughters’ delicious home-cooked meals. When not fishing, or if you don't want to fish, there's a lot to do. Hike, kayak, enjoy our new 10-seat outdoor hot tub, watch wildlife and birds, beach comb, swim/water tube, basketball, horseshoes, volleyball, bonfires & watch sunset, berrypick, or just relax.
